A country kitchen in a Ramat Hasharon penthouse, set on a special wooden oak floor which incorporates a spectacular fish-bone pattern. The kitchen is made entirely of solid wood, from the solid wood cabinet fronts, painted and delicately trimmed, to the island with its warm French oak butcher block, and the solid wood countertop surrounding the kitchen (fitted with a stainless steel sink)
The different shades of paint were carefully selected, and this cream color country kitchen combines bright, hand painted facades with elements of natural wood. The play of colors harmonizes with the impressive parquet floor, making the kitchen a precise composition of classic, rustic and modern. The “perimeter rod” is an example of an unusual design element in this kitchen: it is mounted around the island giving it a decorative touch along with functionality, as it can be used for hanging towels and accessories. The kitchen island includes many storage areas, and an open area for chairs that transforms it into a perfect gathering area.
