This country-style kitchen of solid oak has a large center island which is divided into two distinctive surface areas: a Corian “work” surface with a molded sink and a hot plate, and a solid wood “hosting” surface. The kitchen has proper design flow, with a fascinating integration of color schemes.
The colors in this kitchen were chosen to create a precise harmony between the clean white finish of the Corian countertop, the strong presence of the solid oak of the dining surface, the island cabinets that have been painted in a delicate shade of blue, and rest of the kitchen which is of bleached wood and full of light.
